Comnatix is hiring an AI / ML Engineer to build and ship the LLM-powered features that help finance teams match transactions and explain exceptions every day.
What you will do
- Own evaluation harnesses, prompt strategy and the inference pipeline for our matching assistant.
- Build retrieval-augmented generation over ledger, bank and invoice data.
- Fine-tune and evaluate models, balancing latency, cost and quality.
- Add production observability for model quality, drift and spend.
- Turn fuzzy product asks into rigorous, repeatable evals with the product team.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on ML engineering, including shipping LLM features to production.
- Strong Python and PyTorch, plus experience with vector databases.
- Experience designing evaluations and monitoring for model quality.
- Comfort with MLOps tooling, CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
Location: Hybrid, Austin office two days a week. Work type: Full-time. Salary range: $165,000 to $200,000 plus equity.
