Comparison

Infyva vs Ribbon: two AI voice interviewers compared

Ribbon and Infyva both run AI voice interviews for the first round, which makes this a closer comparison than most. The differences are in how the interview runs, what surrounds it, and what it costs.

Comparison checked October 18, 2026 against Ribbon's public website. Plans change, so check their site too.

What Ribbon offers

Ribbon describes itself as an AI recruiting platform for the top of the funnel: outreach, a first-round voice interview and scoring, with results synced to your ATS and the final decision left to a recruiter. Its interviewer holds a two-way conversation that adapts in real time, runs in the browser with microphone and camera checks, and supports 10 or more languages. Invites and reminders go out by SMS, email and WhatsApp, with automatic follow-ups. Recruiters build custom rubrics, and candidates are scored and ranked on the same criteria. Ribbon's site also lists AI sourcing, talent rediscovery, white-label branding, API access and SSO on all plans.

Pricing on October 18, 2026, billed annually: Growth $499 a month (100 interviews, 2 seats, 2 active roles), Business $999 (400 interviews, 5 seats), Scale $1,999 (1,000 interviews, 10 seats), and Enterprise custom, with per-interview overage from $2.50 to $4.00 and a 7-day free trial.

What Infyva offers

Infyva keeps the interview structured. Nova asks each question aloud, and every candidate for a job gets questions generated from the same job description, or, on Pro and Enterprise, the exact same fixed question bank. Each answer is recorded and transcribed on its own, then scored against the job's competencies with written reasoning. A competency score cannot sit more than 15 points above the answer it cites, and a report with fewer than three answers says there is not enough evidence to recommend a next step. Integrity notes are tied to the answer they happened on. The rest of the workflow is a job board, a six-stage pipeline and share links for hiring managers who do not have an account.

Where Ribbon is stronger

  • Adaptive conversation. Ribbon's interviewer responds and follows up in real time. Infyva's standard interview does not.
  • Outreach. SMS and WhatsApp invites with automatic nudges help completion rates in hourly hiring. Infyva sends email invites.
  • Sourcing and rediscovery. Ribbon finds and re-engages candidates. Infyva works with the applicants you bring.
  • Integrations and languages. 60+ ATS integrations and 10+ languages.
  • Compliance documentation. Ribbon states SOC 2 and a 2025 NYC Local Law 144 bias audit. Infyva has neither yet.

Where Infyva may fit better

  • Lower cost at low and mid volume. 10 free interviews, then $49 a month for 25 or $199 a month for 125, with unlimited seats. Interviews candidates do not finish are not charged.
  • Consistency. Without live follow-ups, every candidate for a role answers the same kind of questions, which makes scores easier to compare and to explain.
  • Evidence behind every number. Scores are capped close to the answers they cite, and each one links to the recording and reasoning.
  • Coding rounds. On Pro and Enterprise, technical candidates can do a vibe-coding round with an AI coding agent in a secure sandbox.

Who should choose which

If you hire at high volume, need SMS or WhatsApp outreach, multiple languages, sourcing, or a completed bias audit for New York City roles today, Ribbon covers more of that. If you are a smaller team that wants a structured voice interview with clear evidence behind each score, at a lower monthly cost, Infyva is a good place to start.
