Infyva and Lever: AI interviews inside your hiring flow

Keep Lever as the system of record. Infyva reads your postings and opportunities, interviews the candidates by voice, and writes the score and a link to the report back onto the Lever opportunity. Your recruiters do not copy anything by hand.

How you connect it

Lever uses API keys, so there is no sign-in window and no app to approve. The connection is for the whole workspace, and only a workspace owner or admin can create it. Everyone else on the team can import jobs once it exists.

  1. In Lever, open Settings, then Integrations and API, then API credentials, and create a key.
  2. Give the key read access to postings, opportunities, stages and resumes, and write access to notes and opportunity stages.
  3. In Infyva, open Settings, then Integrations, choose Lever and paste the key. Use Test connection to check it.

Two fields are optional. The first is a Lever user ID. When you add one, notes and stage moves from Infyva are attributed to that person, so your Lever history shows a name you chose. Leave it blank and Lever uses the key's default. The second is a webhook signature token, which you only need if you want Lever to tell Infyva about changes the moment they happen. The key is encrypted and is never shown again after you save it.

What comes in from Lever

Infyva lists your published postings. Pick one and import it as a new Infyva job, or map it onto a job you already have. You can import as often as you like. Nobody is imported twice: Infyva matches on the Lever opportunity, then the Lever contact, then the email address inside the job. A candidate you added by hand is linked instead of duplicated.

  • The job description. Infyva reads the text of the posting and uses it to write the interview questions. If a posting has no usable description, the job still imports, and resumes are parsed but not scored until you add one.
  • The candidate. Name, email, phone, location, the LinkedIn and GitHub links on the opportunity, and the current Lever stage. Archived opportunities are skipped.
  • The resume. Infyva downloads it from Lever in the background, reads it, and scores it against the job. Files up to 10 MB are supported.

An imported job starts with one fixed set of questions for every candidate, the same as any other Infyva job. You can edit the questions before you send a single invite. See how to write a job description for AI screening if your Lever postings are thin.

Sending the interview

You can invite candidates from Infyva as usual, or let Lever do it. In the job's stage mapping, choose the Lever stage that should trigger the interview. When a candidate reaches that stage, the next sync or webhook sends them the Infyva invite. Candidates already sitting at that stage are invited on the next sync, and each candidate is invited once.

An automatic invite follows the same rules as a manual one. It uses a credit, it respects your company's AI hiring policy for the job's location, and it is skipped, with the reason in the sync log, if the Lever record has no email address or the workspace is out of credits.

What goes back to Lever

Everything is written to the opportunity in Lever, so a recruiter who never opens Infyva still sees what happened.

  • Status notes. A note when the interview is scheduled and another when it is completed.
  • The result. When the report is ready, a note with the score out of 100, a short summary and a link to the full report. A report held for a person to review has no overall score, so nothing is sent rather than a made-up number.
  • Stage moves. When you move a candidate to a new stage in Infyva, Infyva moves the opportunity to the matching Lever stage.

Results arrive as a note, not as a scorecard or a custom field. The per-skill scores, the recordings and the integrity evidence stay in the Infyva report, which the note links to.

Stage mapping

Each job has its own mapping from Infyva's stages (Applied, Screened, Interviewed, Offer, Hired and Rejected) to the stages on that Lever posting. Leave a stage on "Match by name" and Infyva picks the closest Lever stage name. Choose "Don't move in the ATS" for any stage that should stay put. If no Lever stage matches, Infyva does not guess: it moves nothing and records why in the sync log.

How often it syncs

With a webhook set up in Lever, new candidates and stage changes arrive within about a minute. Infyva checks the signature on every delivery and refuses unsigned ones. Without a webhook, every mapped job re-syncs on its own about every six hours, and you can press Sync now at any time.

When Lever is slow or rate limited, updates going back are queued and retried on their own for up to about nine hours. The sync log shows every import, webhook and update, and you can retry a failed one by hand.

What it does not do

  • It does not write per-skill scores or recordings into Lever. They stay in the Infyva report behind the link.
  • It does not import archived opportunities or unpublished postings.
  • It does not hire, reject or decide anything. People make those calls, in Lever or in Infyva.

Plans, credits and disconnecting

The Lever connection is on Pro and Enterprise, and it is switched on during the 14-day Pro trial so you can test it on a real posting. The connection itself costs nothing extra. Interviews are paid in credits like any other. See pricing for plans and credits.

You can disconnect at any time. Infyva deletes the stored key, the queued updates and the Lever links on your jobs and candidates. You can also remove imported candidates who never had an interview. Anyone who did have one stays, unlinked, because their results are your records.

Not on Lever? See the full list of integrations, or the guides for Ashby and Workable. To see the interview itself, watch the 30-second demo.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need in Lever to connect?

An API key from Settings, Integrations and API, API credentials. Give it read access to postings, opportunities, stages and resumes, and write access to notes and opportunity stages.

What shows up in Lever after an interview?

A note when the interview is scheduled, a note when it is completed, and when the report is ready a note with the score out of 100, a short summary and a link to the full report. Stage moves made in Infyva move the opportunity in Lever.

Can a Lever stage send the interview?

Yes. Choose the trigger stage in the job mapping. Candidates who reach it get the invite on the next sync or webhook, once each.

How often does it sync?

Within about a minute if you add a Lever webhook, otherwise about every six hours and whenever you press Sync now.
